DbD Crew is an intermediate level dance class. The class continues to improve upon students strength, flexibility, technique, and overall performance quality. There is also an emphasis on the historical and cultural influences of dance. Students study many popular dance styles:
- Jazz
- Hip Hop
- Musical Theater
- Ballet
- Pom
- Contemporary
- Military Drill
Students will be able to put their dance knowledge into practice through creating their own choreography in both group and individual projects.
This is a performance based class; participation in class showcases and the dance concerts are required.

* PE waiver possible (up to one semester) for 10th-12th grade students who complete this course.

If you successfully completed Dance Ensemble (Dance I) with a C or higher, sign up for Dance II on your CRC and submit it to the counseling office.
Students who are NEW to the program: sign up for Dance I on your CRC, then attend a placement class in the spring for the opportunity to be considered for higher placement. |
